Outer Monologue

And So...

...it has, again, been quite awhile.

I have a better excuse than normal though.

Since my last post, I got married (yay!), moved to a new state (Michigan), and got a new job.

Not bad, huh?

My fair fiancee and I were married in July in Burlington, VT at the Inn at Essex. It was an amazing weekend; lot's of fun, lot's of tears (mostly mine) and a great party.

Oh, and I ended-up with a wife. Ya know how those things go...

Seriously though, it was the greatest day of my life, standing up in front of everyone and declaring our love (and not for cheese!). To have finally found the partner I was meant to share my life (and my idiosyncrasies) with... I can't even begin to describe how happy it made and makes me.

The ceremony was great fun, complete with toasts by Mary's sister, Mrs. CheapThrills and Mr. Collateral Damage, which were all amazing (and funny). The food was also spectacular; I can't talk the Inn at Essex up enough!

Then we danced the night away (replete with patented Michael Jackson dance moves) and generally had a great time.

After that we jetted off for a quick mini-moon in Vegas (we only had a few free days), which was a great trip (too much to describe in this post) in of itself.

Then we packed-up the house and moved to MI, where we now live in wedded bliss.

Not bad, huh?
